These sites will get you on the phone with a specialist who can help you with insurance questions and find a treatment center covered by your plan. SAMHSA is a great resource for state funded rehabs in the country.
Finding treatment when your adult child has no insurance can be tricky. Even with insurance there are out of pocket expenses a lot of the time. These sites are a good place to start to get you answers. They’ll guide you (and/or your adult child) to the treatment they’re eligible for.
These are some Treatment Centers I’ve found in my search when my son was under the age of 18:
NOTE: Dylan attended Family First in West Palm Beach when he was 17. It was a great place and he did very well there. (Sadly, it just doesn’t last).
These are adult Treatment Centers I’ve personally talked to or visited that my son has been to.
NOTE: He graduated from Silvermist (which is a beautiful facility) and was the best I’ve ever seen him after. (Again, it just doesn’t last).
